Week 3 - Right Relationship: The Cervix & Your Inner Gatekeeper
The cervix is the gatekeeper to the uterus aka the womb aka The Heavenly Palace (according to Traditional Chinese Medicine). Imagine the womb and your vulva as sacred space, similar to a cathedral with multiple entrances that take one to the holy within holies - the inner sanctuary. Not everyone can enter nor should they. The gatekeeper sorts and discerns who or what has access (entrance) and supports the process of what needs to be released (exit).
The cervix is the soft, spongy tissue that guards the entrance to the uterus preventing sperm and tampons and toxins from entering the womb, and supporting the release of babies, blood and energy that no longer serves.
You may also consider your aura and energy field as sacred space, semi-permeable, responsive and protective, allowing energy to transmit outwardly and to be sensitive of approaching energy. Are there any leaks or unnecessary restrictions?
Who and what we allow in our sacred space contributes to our experience of peace, empowerment, inspiration, joy and quality of life.
Practice:
Cervical Palpation - Become familiar with your cervix, the soft, spongy tissue that guards the entrance to the uterus. With clean hands and whilst in the shower or bathtub, place a finger or two into the vulva and with curiosity and a calm breath, move inwards towards the cervix. Note the texture, size of the cervix and the os (the internal os aka the opening of the cervix), as well as, the height or distance of the cervix to the entrance of the vulva (the external os).
Practice this daily and throughout the menstrual cycle. With time, you will begin to notice a rhythm with your cervix and its positioning (high or low, soft or firm). Document and note this rhythm within your journal noticing how it shifts in relationship to your cycle and mood.

- Where in my life and choices am I overly restrictive? Am I allowing myself to truly live? How do I hold myself back from experiencing and expressing love, abundance, creativity, pleasure and harmony?
- Who are the people that support me?
- Who are the people that deplete me?
- What places and spaces empower me and fill me with energy and confidence?
- What places and spaces deplete my energy and rattle my confidence?
Promise:
I AM a guardian of my peace
I AM selective of who and what has access to my sacred space
[I also give myself permission to flow, release and experience]
I AM comfortable with saying "No"
I AM aware of the signs and signals of a full-body "Yes"
Week 4 - Release: Blood Stories & Shedding Your Skin
Prepare:
Prepare your space with a paper and colored markers, pens or pastels along with the things that make you feel confident, cherished and loved. After or during your watch of the replay, doodle or draw with the intention of connecting with or expressing your journey with your moon time.
Practice:
Connect with the vital energy channel linking the heart and the womb. Traditional Chinese Medicine identifies the Heart as the Emperor of the Organs. The heart "rules" over all the organs including the uterus/womb. The uterus is called the "fetal palace" or the "Heavenly Palace". The heart makes the blood that nurtures the Heavenly Palace allowing it to hold and sustain life - a fetus/child. If life is not fertilized, the blood - moon blood - is released as menstruation.
The connection of the heart womb is through the bao mai - Uterine Vessel. When this vessel is obstructed, most often due to stress and emotional upheaval or unprocessed emotions, the blood/menstrual and fertility cycle are disrupted.
Click here to download the meditation: Heart Womb Connection
Prompts:
"When the women give their blood back to the earth, men will come home from war and earth shall find peace.” Hopi Prophesy
- Your First Bleed - write your feelings, thoughts and imprints. Was there celebration? Did you hide your bleed; was menstruation considered a taboo in your household? What education did you receive about femininity and womanhood? What do you wish you had learned and received?
- What are your feelings about the moon?
- What stage of your menstrual life are you in (bleeding person, stopped bleeding due to hysterectomy, perimenopause, menopause)?
- If you are a bleeding person, in which one of the four stages are you currently (menstrual, pre-ovulation, ovulation, pre-menstruation)? Have you noticed shifts in energy, creativity, mindset and mood?
- If you grew up with the Hopi Prophesy, how would that have shifted your relationship with your moon blood and bleed time?
Promise:
I release control
and surrender to the flow of love
That will heal me

Week 7 - Nurture: Yoni Hygiene & Tending Your Sacred Space
Prepare:
I absolutely LOVE a yoni steam and look forward to sharing this practice with you.
My personal practice is relaxing, contributing to a good night sleep, detoxifying and supportive of a full release of menstrual matter, and educational as the practice is normalized for my daughters.
In preparation, check out this Super Quick Yoni Steam Setup Reel I created on my IG. Acquire your tools and if you would like, some organic herbs from your local community (check out this list of herbs). Do not use essential oils! They are too concentrated.
Now, yoni steaming is accessible AND there are some contraindications such as no steaming if you are pregnant or have an IUD. We will go over many of these contraindications in Tuesday’s class.
Practice:
Yoni Steam Setup (shared in the live session) and see link above for super quick, no herb setup. FOR HERB RECIPE, SCHEDULE PRIVATE CONSULT WITH ME. Email [email protected] for details.
Before steaming, watch the replay in full for a detailing of contraindications.
Prompts:
How can I upgrade my yoni ecology and care practices?
If I begin a steam practice, what am I addressing and what outcomes would I like to experience?
Promise:
I care for myself with tenderness, ease and consistency

Week 8 - Integrating Your Remembrance
Practice:
Listen to the replay which includes a somatic meditation, exploration of the quality of being you would like to expand in your life, along with receiving medicine and a message for moving forward. You will also identify a single, potent and practical action steps for weaving this message into your life. You will also be invited to journal and mind map.
Prompts:
Which Root Work Self-Care or Guided Meditation Practice stands out to you (it can be one you've engaged with or have not and yet it still speaks to you)?
What is the quality of being that that practice stimulates (nurturance, patience, quietude, ease, joy, self-love, etc) or wish you expect that it will stimulate?
How is that quality of being present or absent in your life?
What wisdom can you receive around this?
On a large piece of paper, write this quality of being in the center and mind map extensions from it that identify the ways you can nurture and express this quality.
What is one action step that you can take today or early tomorrow that will weave this message or quality of being into your life? This action must be simple, practical and meaningful.
Promise:
I create space each day to access and listen to my inner medicine
